"Here are a couple pictures of my install. Looks good and was pretty easy to install. If I were going to give any suggestions on things to look at in the future is to put the 'locking groves' into the tilt. The only thing I have noticed is if I go to hit the mute button on the front of the radar detector the detector will tilt down if I push it to hard. The detector stays firmly in place while driving and have never had it move at all except if I push the mute button. I thought if you ground those locking grove things into the two pieces it would make them 'sit' together and give it a little more strength.
I love it! it is so much better than having the suction cup mount to the windshield where everyone can see it (not to mention block the defrost on the cold mornings). The mount is up higher in the truck so I see the display as soon as it detects something even if I don't hear the tones. Looks Great and I will continue to recommend to everyone that rides in my truck!"
Thanks Matt...and remember that the 2 Hinge Screws with their Lock Washer can be tightened with the full Leverage of the included Allen Wrench while holding its long arm.
